Applicant must be a resident citizen of an eligible low-income country to be considered for a grant from the Ramani Fund. We use the World Bank list of low-income economies to select eligible countries. Currently eligible countries are Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo DR, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Togo and Uganda.

Applicant must be the principal/lead investigator of the proposed study. Your proposed study must have significant elements of medicine, technology, behavioral economics and public health, and you must use robust statistical techniques to analyze your data.

You must apply within five years of completing your bachelor’s, master’s or PhD degree.

You must be a staff or student of a registered company/organization in the country you are applying from.
